Reclamation II explores the quiet return of life after disruption. Through layers of paint, collage sanding, and rediscovery, forms emerge that were never fully planned--suggesting growth that cannot be forced, only revealed. Rather than depicting a landscape, the work invites viewers to witness a process of uncovering, where beauty is found not by covering what came before, but by allowing it to reappear in unexpected ways.
